Sarah Michelle Gellar was born on April 14th, 1977, in New York city, where she was also raised on the Upper East side.
When she was six, she landed her first move role, in An Invasion of Privacy opposite, Valerie Harper. Growing up wasn't always easy, but her mother was her biggest fan throughout her life. She gave her unconditional support and encouragement. By the time she was a teenager, Sarah had to decide between going to the Junior Prom and the Emmy Awards.
Appearing in many movies at this point and television series, movies and soap operas, Sarah was on her way, to making herself one of the brightest, magnificent, young ladies as far as actresses go. Today she not only stars in one of the most popular, thrilling shows on television (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), she has been in some of the biggest blockbusters of our time. The possibilities are endless, the roles are spectacular, the audiences are loving her.
